Everyone
possesses inner beauty. What is not on the outside is always on the inside.
Our bodies and minds are a magical creation. By knowing ourselves our inner beauty
can grow and flourish. If everyone looked for a person's inner beauty there would be
so much love and peace in the world if not within ourselves.
I am a
lover of nature and the wonders it possesses and the teachings of Mother Earth are
invaluable. I read somewhere and I have never forgotten:
"Treat
the earth well. Remember that it was not given to us by our parents, but was lent to
us by our children." I think that is why I am a huge fan of the Native American
culture. Native Americans treat our earth as if it was a gift. They sing it
in their dance and worship it with their words. We can all learn from these
wonderful people.
Take a look
around you and see what you are missing. Cherish it and nurture it like a child.
Our lives, no matter how short on this earth deserve to share in the beauty around
us.
My children
and my grandchildren teach me every day. Through them I see the miracle that is life
and I want them to know how precious the air we breath, the ground we walk on and the many
different personalities around us are and how each intermingle to form one earth.
I want their
minds to be filled with wonder and to never stop dreaming. I want them to ask
questions and be in awe of what the answers are. I want them to search for the truth
and the beauty within every human being no matter what the flaw may be. But most of
all, I want them to love Mother Earth and work to preserving her beauty.
